Meeting a Pilates equipment manufacturer in person gives buyers a chance to look beyond a catalogue. At AusFitness Sydney 2026, TMAX Pilates welcomed studio owners, distributors, fitness retailers and brand partners to Booth 234 at ICC Sydney to explore commercial Pilates equipment and discuss what their businesses need next.

Our September exhibition visit was an opportunity to demonstrate equipment, hear feedback and build relationships with the Australian Pilates community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tested a reformer or shared a project with our team.

TMAX Pilates at AusFitness Expo and Industry 2026

The Sydney fitness event brought together two connected programmes: AusFitness Expo, held from 11–13 September 2026, and AusFitness Industry Trade Show & Summit, held on 11–12 September. Both took place at ICC Sydney.

For TMAX, the value of attending was in the conversations. Studio operators could explain how they use equipment throughout the day, while distributors and OEM partners could discuss the product details that matter to their customers.

Experiencing commercial Pilates equipment in person

Our exhibition range included wooden Pilates reformers, aluminium reformers, folding reformers, Pilates chairs and accessories. Visitors were able to inspect the equipment up close and discuss different configurations with our team.

Carriage movement, upholstery, rails and overall build quality attracted particular attention. These are details that product photographs alone cannot fully communicate. A hands-on visit also makes it easier to compare equipment with the practical needs of a new studio, an expanding class schedule or a distributor’s product range.

What studio owners and distributors wanted to discuss

Many of our conversations went beyond choosing a model. Buyers asked about commercial durability, spare parts, after-sales support, customisation and international shipping. These discussions highlighted how closely equipment selection is connected to running a business.

For a studio owner, the questions may include how equipment fits the room, how easily instructors can make adjustments and how replacement parts can be obtained. For a distributor, consistent specifications, clear communication and support for customers are equally relevant.

We also heard interest in natural wood finishes, clean designs and upholstery colours that suit a studio’s interior. These were observations from our exhibition conversations, and they will help inform our future product development and customer discussions.

Customisation was another recurring topic at the show. Studio groups and fitness brands often want equipment that reflects their identity, while distributors may need a range tailored to their local market.
